There aren't $20k cars anymore but are there a lot of cars for around $25k those $700 a month payments are a choice, no one ain't forcing anyone to spend that much on a vehicle. A base Corolla will get you to work just the same as a $100k Ford raptor.

BRZs are being listed under MSRP and GR86s are around $2k markup. You can get a BRZ tS for the same price as the highest trim GR86. 

I know plenty of people around me that will take 10 years car loans for new trucks if it gets the monthly to where they can afford it.
