Japan also had some growing pains to make the Shinkansen happen it went double over budget, as it happens everywhere, and like that once it’s operation people rarely remember the initial budget, it just need to be delivered first. I really do hope I can visit the US and the West Coast and not deal with the nightmare

There are other factors contributing to the project that put it in jeopardy. House Speaker and Bakersfield native Kevin McCarthy has been against the project for years.

After years of tasteless paint jobs like this..

Looks like they copied Lexus with the Morpho Butterfly blue.

Could have swore that was Lexus, not Acura.  Unless Acura did the same thing later.

What an interesting question.

Color trending is a thing. Most manufacturers aren’t establishing the trends, rather they’re responding to research and sentiment. Pantone, among other firms conduct research that has a predictive view on color.

Glossy primer is the worst paint trend, they made boring more shiny, huzzah.

I heard Acura came up with this Iridescent blue mimicking the colors found on Butterflies, truly is a beautiful color.

As much as I’d love to blame tiktok, America had a presidential election over 6 years ago where many middle-aged adults shared fake articles with jarring headings all over social media. Being reactionary isn’t new at all, there’s just more ways to react.

Don’t even give them that concession. Don’t give them the option, stand your ground, united front. No subscriptions on anything hardwired into the car.

Absolutely.

I’ll tolerate a subscription on a feature that is constantly getting updated... like traffic camera or speed trap updates. You can also get by without those at all. But paying a subscription for hardware features that don’t need regular updates is gonna be a pass for me.

It would have been 75% or more if it wasn’t for the Office.

If heated seats are installed in my car, but I need to pay a subscription fee to access the feature installed in my car, then I will not be purchasing that car.

The Subscription/Features business model is the work of the devil.
