Im a fan of patina, but man this car would’ve looked way better with proper paint. Patina is more fitting for those home built daily driven builds. Where everything is a little rough around the edges but everything works. A build this caliber deserves multiple layers of fancy paint.

Being a middle class poor I do agree $30k is not cheap. But based off the numbers, $30k is cheap for a sports car. 

When the avg price of a car is $46k, $30k is cheap. 

That car sounds nothing like a GR86. It doesn't sound light, affordable or connected with Subaru. If this car does get made it'll be called the Celica. It can't be a Supra because the entire world moaned and groaned when it was announced it was a BMW, I can't imagine if they made a 3 cylinder Supra.

I mean they literally built a flying car, so I guess they win? I still don't understand the hype about flying cars, they're fucking helicopters that can drive but can't really drive anywhere because of it's massive decapitating blades. 

There Are probably hundreds of lifted Miatas out there. Iirc Paco motorsports made a bolt on kit making lifted your Miata an easy weekend job.

Yea, sadly the days of the $3000 Miata are long gone.

Anytime anyone asks me how the Mazda5 drives, which is none, I always say take a base Mazda3 and load it with cement bags.
