I’m finishing up a podcast series on the Pacific theatre of WWII, and boy oh boy did some truly heinous shit happen over in Guam, Guadalcanal, etc. I have a fairly strong stomach for gore and even I winced hearing some details.

Hoping my comment didn’t come off as snarky itself, but yeah it’s exhausting. And even worse to me feels kinda phony, performative skepticism of everything to prove one is still “cool”.

I know it’s not a new thing, but people taking time to “hatewatch” anything, when there’s so much out there to genuinely lovewatch, and so little time in which to do so is totally baffling to me.
