If you really pay attention it’s actually a documentary about minotaurs.

I really liked Room 237, but I’d watch a whole documentary debunking that documentary.
I get that complaining about The Bear’s placement isn’t cool, and I understand both “dramedy” and “30 minute format” arguments, but I’ll be curious to see what happens next season.
I don’t really remember what John Hamm did in the Morning Show that was so memorable (he was fine), but he was incredible in Fargo. His character was terrifying to the point that seeing John Hamm kind of gives me the icks (which is a testament to his performance, not a dig on the actor).
Yeah, I mostly liked the first season (had its issues, could have been truly great). Second season was atrocious in my book, but I did end up watching the third season and liking it much more than S2. Doesn’t hold a candle to Shogun or even The Gilded Age, though.
Super excited for Kristen Kish!
He’s gonna have tough competition with Hiroyuki Sanada but even if they aren’t suppose to, “career achievement” might put him over the top even if his performance as The Ghoul stands on its own
This had damn well better be Walton Goggins’s year. The man is LONG overdue.
Same thing Comedy Central gets by having Stewart on at all: Ratings
If political punditry is pro wrestling, and it is, this shit was Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair having a match in their 70s.
What the everloving fuck is wrong with the Stewart and the show that they thought this was a good idea?
I like Jon, but this is par for the course with him. I think he’s a phenomenal critic of the media, but is much worse as a political pundit, especially when he tries to engage in good faith with his bad faith sparring partners from the right. It’s very cringe-worthy, and only gets moreso as the climate continues to…
I have to say, I know that “sex pests” is a phrase used in the UK and perhaps elsewhere, but I’ve always thought it’s such a goofy and inadequate way to describe a sexual predator. I think of “pest” as something that’s annoying at worst.
He was always really proud of his “thing” with Bill O’Reilly. Nauseating and more than a bit out of touch.
If Jon thinks having Bad Faith Argument O’Reilly on to discuss the political divide is “balance”, what does that say about him?
Yeah, the main issue at this point with O’Reilly is not that he’s some reasonable opponent who disagrees on policy or even some calculating dickhead who is rallying an easily manipulated base for clicks; it’s that he’s a sexual predator who’s had tens of millions of dollars paid out to settle the complaints against…
Well I mean that’s part of the thing, I don’t think the “nepobabies” are a problem because they’re always only a fraction.
and if the arts are inhabited only by the wealthy
Yeah, I agree that art is good when it reflects a variety of viewpoints. I just see daylight between that and “there’s a societal interest in making sure people have the financial security to purse an acting career.”
Art and culture is kind of essential to a society continuing to function, and if the arts are inhabited only by the wealthy you get art that doesn’t understand over half of the society it comes from.
