I hadn’t thought of that, you’re probably right. I guess the base Camaro will be the rental-agency/lease special. I guess most car rental agencies and lessees won’t have to worry about a major engine service (unless the engine is an absolute piece of garbage)

I wonder what will be the long-term reliability of the engine. You know that the base mustang has a tried-and-true V6 engine. This turbo 4 mill is likely to have higher operating costs.

I definitely got shafted.

You forgot the new and improved mall-crawler transfer case

I’m getting an “standard SUV (Edge or similar) for 15 days at 750$ in December. Even when adding insurance, etc. I won’t be paying more than 1400$.

It was the cheapest price I could find on short notice (my wife got a day off and I called my boss and asked for the day, so it was a “less than 24 hour notice” thing.

Here’s my experience in regards to rental cars (Living in Brooklyn, NY).

My uncle had one until earlier this year. It was a piece of junk that ran for over 200k miles and it was fun as hell to drive fast. He sold it for like 1.5k to a highschool kid, and we still see the car every once in a while.

Forgot the lifted Suzuki Samurai

I think the Model X is more of a “mall-rated” offroader

I Think JM Lexus also had one at some point.

...you do know this is an FCA product we’re talking about, right? This thing will have more gremlins than a 7 series that has visited the bottom of a lake.

Yeah, if I wanted a non-street legal offroad vehicle, I’d just get an used trophy truck.

That’s what I was thinking, this might not be street legal.

This is what I imagine heaven for the Mythbusters and the Top Gear guys (the original) must be like.

No love for the new Regal Wagon (TourX)? I think the Regal Wagon is one of the best looking wagons you can get.

I mean, I know it’s not reasonable, practical, or even makes sense at all..but I must have this...

I can’t believe the QX70 is that cheap. I checked prices in NYC and you can find some certified, 1 owner 2014 units for ~30k. Why is that? Poor realiability? Poor fuel economy? This seems like the perfect DINK (Dual income, no kids) car when you want practicality.

(even in 2017) too soon.
