How does dropping off and picking up kids takes over 5 minutes? Only possible way I could see this happening is if this was a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Otherwise, loading a couple kids in their child seats should take ~2 minutes tops.

737 rudders have been troublesome since forever. I remember watching a documentary when I was a kid covering 2 737 plane crashes in the 90s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_737_rudder_issues

A Range Rover? Worst take in the universe.

I’m surprised the NX 450h costs as much as a XC60, I would go with the XC60 all day given the options.

Nepo kids will always be nepo kids

I wouldn’t give a Nissan with a CVT to my worst enemy. Recommending Nissans is just irresponsible, specially for people that may be constrained with money.

I wonder why the lease deals on these are so abysmal. The F-Pace is almost $200 more than a similarly equipped Velar.

The way electric cars are able to put power on the ground is simply mindblowing. The Lucid is a marvel of engineering.

I’d sell one of the cars and get a used Prius/Camry hybrid as my daily.

NGL, this is a perfect sized car for NYC with enough punch to make driving upstate fun

This is absolutely ridiculous...which is exactly what the G-class stands for. Kudos to Mercedes for keeping the absolutely unhinged G-class spirit alive.

OP would have to stretch the budget by 2-3k, but a 2020-2021 Volvo V60 might be an option for for 31-33k OTD

I really like the interior, but I cannot look past the horrendous rear of the SUV.

Wonder how a “low output” + Hybrid powertrain would perform with the torque fill at slow speeds.

Too late, the supermarket is already out of pasta

Why not just call it the Q6 or QE6 or something like this? Given that the Q8 already exists as a gas powered SUV along with the fun SQ8 and unhinged RSQ8, this just adds more confusion to the lineup.

It’s likely that for the U.S. market larger turbochardged gas/diesel engines would need to be offered.

This of course means that the suspension needs to be adjusted for the larger engine/higher power output, which adds to the cost of offering these vehicles in the U.S.

My guess is the folding seats allows them to offer heated/ventilated second row seats without having to design a complex attachment system at the bottom of the seats.

We should bring back “Crack Pipe” just for this heap of junk

Things like hats, jackets, small purses, or backpacks do not qualify as overhead bin luggage.

A Plug-in Hybrid fits this bill nicely. You can probably travel around town or nearby areas within the range of the battery and you have essentially unlimited range for the longer road trips you need to take.
