I never heard the term ratchet until I worked in a mall in Jersey city over the holidays, I had to ask my coworkers to explain it to me several times but I never quite got this definition. Interesting!

SO SCAMPERY OMG!!! That's it, give me all the kittens. I need to have every kitten.
I was just talking to a friend who only a year or so ago, I used to bond with over "omg, childbirth is the most horrifying thing ever, everyone who gets pregnant must be insane" - she's due in like a month. She told me she's scared and anxious about it, and while my immediate and honest impulse was to agree she had…
ugh that is awful!! I go through seasons of lots of migraines and then don't get them for a while - ending my spring migraine season now so it's not going to be so bad through the summer (if the trend holds up.) I tried every OTC "migraine" drug, like excedrin migraine (what a joke!) as well as treximet, imitrex and…
feverfew! it's amazing.
Pagan hi-five!
feverfew!!! it is the best. you can get in capsule form at most supplement stores, Vitamin Shoppe, Whole Foods, etc. Everyone's migraines are different but it's the only thing that's ever helped with mine! Good luck!!
Dave Matthews has a vineyard in Charlottesville VA. I don't like wine but I've heard good things!
I'm all for employing natural medicine when possible - I take an herb for my migraines that is an absolute godsend after every prescription drug had failed me. Ginger makes my tummy feel better. Coconut oil is super good for your brain and stuff. Also I'm on antibiotics right now because I have a frickin infection.…
NOOOO NOT SHAH RUKH!!! ;_;
Lindy you're my favorite thing about the internet.
So much this. It's easy for men to want kids - physically speaking- they don't have to do any hard work to get them! But what baffles me more is how so many women dismiss the horrors of pregnancy/childbirth as just "part of the deal" - I've had mothers tell me that shouldn't even be a consideration when it comes to…
I'm only 26, but I've been firmly anti-kid-having for the better part of a decade. My husband was leaning towards wanting kids when we first started dating in high school, but now when we see a screaming child he's often the first to say "glad we don't have one of those!" We sometimes debate the merits of adopting…
That is one of my all-time favorite Olivia quotes, I was so psyched to see it!
This works out for you, truly? I'm curious cause I have really hairy arms for a girl and it's always bothered me. As a kid I planned to start shaving them when I finally was able to shave my legs (I was mortified to discuss puberty stuff and only got to start doing those kind of things when my mom offered) but…
It truly was an answer that prompts only more questions...
My dear Mr. Meriadoc, what the heck are you talking about?? I want to understand so I can try it and then be disappointed when it does nothing because that would be insane.
ahahahaha yes. awesome.
Yeah that made me cringe big time. The women of GOT may live in a man's world and deal with the brutal injustices that come with it, but they are just as much the powerful, interesting, complex movers and shakers in the series just the same. That's not girly enough, I guess.
If this were true:
