Funnily enough, I started reading GOT because tons of people/critics billed it as similar to Tolkien. WHAT.

Sounds cool, but aside from a girl reclaiming her parent's throne, not a whole lot like GOT. Still I'll see/read it!

omg that cat is adorable. She might be scrambling back across the room begging to be shoved, but I couldn't do it! I just want to snuggle her!! So much enthusiasm!

Unpaid internships, especially those where you are clearly doing valuable work for the company (I had one that was more doing my own projects under the tutelage of another artist, which was fair) are complete BS. But how do they have any legal standing if that's what they signed on for?

Oh man that's terrible!! I should probably just assume every retailer is lying to me, even the ones who look so nice on the surface... also I applied to Whole Foods like a hundred times since high school and they never once gave me an interview, so I'm still a little bitter about that. But we have no Wegmans

true! They get some stuff from NY and Connecticut too. But maybe (probably) it doesn't make financial sense for them to exclusively source local farm produce... the prices can be pretty ridiculous as it is.

That is lame! The one I go to does advertise that lots of its produce comes from local farms - but definitely not all of it. But then there aren't quite so many local farms in North Jersey.

I so miss living near a Costco! I didn't realize how cool they were when we had a membership or I would totally have tried working there (I work as a baker now and they have a bakery! what a missed opportunity!) I do wish they had more of the hippytastic stuff I love like Whole Foods, though. And a delicious buffet.

This bums me out so hard. Are there any companies that aren't evil? I want the only thing I hate about Whole Foods to be the prices!

Ahhh I see! I think, what with the "stickers", I was thinking of the round yellow smiley variety and thinking that has got to be relatively old. I might google it when I'm feeling less lazy.

Two things. 1. that's a bunny??? 2. r u srsly telling me the inventor of the smiley face is still alive? This seems improbable.

God yes me too! I have a large collection of white tops and they all inevitably end up with the most horrible yellow deodorant pits. I was stupid and washed them all with bleach before googling it, and when I saw it did nothing, proceeded to google where the internet told me I basically set in the yellow stains

Thanks so much for the tips!!! :D

I am really bummed to hear that. :( I wear a 37" inseam and if it weren't for Gap, I would not have had pants that fit me since I was 12.

More frustrating than a $7 t-shirt pilling up is when I buy something from Banana Republic (on clearance, I'm not made of money!) and it is so fragile that it pills up/sheds piles of fuzz (when it did not even appear to be a fuzzy material,) from a purse strap or seatbelt rubbing against it ON THE FIRST WEAR. I try

My husband spent a couple months in Hokkaido, he's a 6'2" Indian guy, and schoolchildren asked for his autograph. Make of that what you will.

I feel your pain sister!! I'm 5'11" with a 37" inseam. My hips are well above the height of my husband's and my dad's, who are both 3-4 inches taller than me. Finding pants (and skirts, and dresses, and shorts, and lol have you ever tried on capris that just touched the top of your kneecaps?) is my personal hell.

I am not a fan of beards. They belong on lumberjacks, not pretty actor faces. Especially on young guys, they usually make them look much older. If they are neatly trimmed they look creepy and if they are not neatly trimmed, dirty. That said, JT's is not bad.

re: Dan Stevens, right?!?! I can't figure out what it is. It's like his face is too small. Can the brown hair do that?!

It very well could, because the Bluths, unlike other television families, had been able not only to intensify their fan base in their absence, but to expand it, something that the crew of Serenity hasn’t been able to manage.
