Neigh, I say.
Neigh, I say.
There’s always an element of “sending a message” when a ballistic missile is tested. As Tyler mentioned it’s an affirmation of our capabilities and a warning to any potential enemies that we are capable of putting overwhelming firepower anywhere we want anytime we want.
Tyler this was a fantastic article and a nice change-up from your other (also good!) work. I'd love to see more stuff like this.
The comments section on the Gawker article hurt my brain. “OMG WHY ARE THEY FIRING THIS OVER A POPULATED AREA?!?” - a thing actually said. Never mind that the test range is 50 miles off the coast and they fired it west into the open ocean.
So, did you get relegated?
Just watched Tucker and Dale vs Evil for the first time last night on Netflix. Fantastic.
I just choked on my sandwich reading this. +1
Doug DeMuro: we found your next project when you sell the Hummer.
That poison spear tho
You are absolutely correct, I do not own an EV yet. However I think it’s a bit naive (and frankly dumb) for people to just expect the public domain or their employer to provide for it. It’s a great perk though and certainly encourages adaptation.
Like I said, the chance of a military action against Taiwan is zero. Feel free to put your money where your mouth is though, I'll take that bet every day.
Apparently not since McGregor won!
First: China is much more of a rational actor than Russia.
Yeah if he didn’t have the mountain winded to exhaustion he’d probably get crushed in a grapple. If you watch the video McGregor spends an insane amount of time at standoff distance looking for quick strikes. Hit and move, hit and move. He knows if he gets inside the mountain’s grasp he's done.
Technique beats sheer strength nearly every time, unless you let them grab hold of you. Also big guys like that generally don't have the muscular endurance of a leaner athlete.
Zero. Next question.
Youve been attacking me this entire conversation as if I’m an anti-EV zealot. I want EV’s. I want a semi-affordable (30-50k) Tesla in my driveway right now.
Tesla isn’t providing for every public charger in the country, but please. Continue.
First, the fuel isn’t free. Tax dollars are paying for it. Unless you’re using one of the third party chargers that do charge a fee.
That’s all well and good. However, if you can’t make it to/from home on your charge and you’re consistently relying on the availability of charging stations at your destination, the technology is lacking.
