Shouldn’t matter. One could easily argue that CyberPunk is still a glorified beta but it got nominated for the RPG category. The cyberpunk bug list makes Forza’s look like a college kid’s grocery list.

It’ll never happen. Fact is that most companies don’t need QA all the time. If I’ve got 4 games in development and only one is near a playable state, I need a team of QA big enough for that project. But if in 6 months, 2 more reach a playable state AND I still have the previous one, I need 3 times as many people. But

Even in video games the developers are paid well. QA isn’t developers. You can get a QA job at any of the big 3 with just a HS Diploma. It’s not a hard thing to train.

QA people, by in large, don’t create anything. All they produce is issues for someone else to fix. They’re like the proofreader at a book publisher; they look it over, point out the problems and send it back to get fixed. Very few can actual code, and the ones that do are usually promoted to SDET pretty quick.

I am pretty sure the average time a vaccine needs to be trialled for is 5 years isn’t it?”
No. There’s no time frame at all. It usually takes an average of 5 years to develop a vaccine. 3 of that is what they call “exploratory” where they search for something that has the desired effect. Next year is animal testing.

Combine that with almost every study so far saying “If you had Covid, then you get the vaccine, you’ve basically got superhuman immunity to it now.”
Believe me, after I had it (and I had a mild case) I couldn’t wait to get the vaccine to avoid having to do that crap again.

Still better than Atooi/Jools and his HatchTales/Chicken Wiggle kickstarter. Over a year without an update, then he announced (on twitter) he’d been working on and released a completely different game, then fled Twitter after he got piled on for not finishing the game he’s promised first. That Kickstarter is still

Not even that. PS5 dethroned the switch for that one month due to the OLED version, ironically. Peopled stopped buying the normal switch to wait for the OLED one to hit. I’m pretty sure when the numbers of Oct come out, Switch will be back on top again.

Otherwise, we’re getting into a really weird realm where punishing bad people for doing bad things also means that good people will be punished for doing good things.”

It’s not that as so much that the electoral college system is set to explode, badly, if there’s more than 2 parties. And it gets worse the more their are. Do you really want a set up where a person could win the popular vote by a landslide and then have whatever party holds the majority in the HOUSE pick the

Difference is they have the metrics to prove if customers want it or not. Microsoft once said that less than 2% of users ever used backwards compatibility on the XB1. Combine that with the fact that down voting Nintendo online youtube videos became an internet past-time awhile back, and I would just ignore it too.

Covid is absolutely a factor. Washington will allow them to say “No vax/ no clean test, no entry”. Texas passed a law making that illegal.

    Not what happened here though.
Los Angeles Police Department Officer Daniel Whitmore, who analyzed the event data recorder data from the Lamborghini SUV after the crash, testified that the vehicle’s speed was recorded at 86 mph five seconds before the impact with the driver’s foot “completely on the gas pedal

Having dug into the articles around this case a little more, this is a case of rich parents. The original charge was in adult court (that’s how we find out he was involved in a street race with his girlfriend when this happened), his parents sued to have it moved to juvenile court. After that, they fought against

Correct. There were multiple reasons given for it, most of which made sense.

I mean, if nothing else, the article was published at 3:40pm on the 11th of Oct, and she said she was banned on the 8th. So its likely they gave her the weekend if nothing else.

Not quite, there’s a “prefers redheads” and “prefers blondes” part just outside on the edges.

Likely paid for itself in 1-2 cars. Outlanders aren’t worth that much but the parts are worth a lot. Outlanders are like the universal donors for all Mitsubishi vehicles when a part dies.

You’d think, but Mitsubishi vehicles are worth a small fortune for their parts. For some reason, they’re one of the few companies in the world that no one makes knock off parts for, so if you need to fix your car, you have to buy a Mitsubishi part, and most of them have to be imported.

Sorta. Mostly because my current job really loves NDA's. Pretty sure the Microsoft one has run it's course by now. PS2 game was Jak and Daxter, trailer was for Psychonauts. Well, it was super short and only showed an outline of Raz anyway. They paid me with a full copy of Microsoft office (at the time $400 version)
