Not intimately familiar with the rules; I’ve never done one, just considering it. I’m in the midwest and people I know who have done them all wear tri suits. I just think I’d be really uncomfortable being exposed in open water during a race (which is illogical, I realize, because I swim in bikinis without hesitation).
