1. Accused, not convicted. This is frequently pre-trial.

That is not actually correct in Chicago nor are the majority of young people who end up with EM “juvenile delinquents.” As noted in the article, it is typical for EM to be used before a minor’s court date (so they are accused but not convicted of a crime). Many times, charges are dropped. And no, they are not charged

I don’t see where she did any disparaging? She simply said that the social college experiences (which this girl said were her only real reason for going, adding explicitly that she wasn’t there for the education) can be had at any university and added that she could have just gone to a nearby college that she could

Nicki is actually correct

You had it right the first time

To Aretha, her family, and the venue (and what it represents). I think women should be able to wear whatever they want without fear of harassment (or worse). That doesn’t take away from the fact that there are community-set norms around dress for certain venues and events. I’m not religious, but when I accompany my

She did look fine. Her outfit has no bearing on the harassment she experienced or the fact that the pastor was beyond out of line. Still not church appropriate. Still an outfit that would get me in trouble if I wore it to work and get all the church ladies talking if I wore it to church. The convention is to cover

Yeah this is literally what my dad would say about my mom (who is the world’s worst push over and absolutely does not believe this) to justify the fact that I don’t have a relationship with him. Been there, done that, called this man’s shittiness out on day one.

Bea’s of Bloomsbury was one of the most memorable meals I had in London! Highly recommend. Super cute, delicious and reasonably priced. I wanted to do a fancy tea and so I did one at Harrods. While I recommend checking out Harrods, the tea was super expensive, mediocre at best and not at all fancy. A friend later went

And still subjective within the same city! I feel pretty comfortable (although certainly not wealthy) on 50K in Chicago.

I got ticketed for street cleaning on (for example) 10/17/17 in Englewood. The ticket said 10/29/17. I protested, they said I had to pay it, I did, and then they started charging me late fees! Sorry. Still salty.

Please share your findings! I have all the time in the world for concerned calls to their employers.
