Last year when One WTC was commissioned or whatever, the Tall Building Association (yeah, seriously) redefined the concept of the true Height of a building vs its “Vanity Height”- “the distance between a skyscraper’s highest occupiable floor and its architectural top.”

It’s not even an MVNO, just a reseller for tmobile.

T-Mo/ATT limit how long you can “rollover” data for. Also, it’s definitely different. If you’re on average a 1GB user, then your phone needs are just that. No parting with extra cash the next month.

About coverage maps, what’s it to anyone if Sprint/T-Mo has poor service in Town X which they don’t live in. We act like it’s so important, but at the end of the day people will go with what works best in their own cities. How many percent of people travel the US and require 100% coverage.

This is basically a Google Branded Republic Wireless.

Really? Still? fuck those guys. I see that their data rollover plan, is nothing but a bait and switch, and doesn’t mean squawk in the long run, cos you can’t access the rolled over data until you exhaust your monthly allowance. Fucking scam.

I believe all talk and text is unlimited these days.

Well, its vastly different. 2 things:

apparently the ACLU have an Android app that just does that - uploads your video as you record, in case your phone is confiscated.

But the desert IS a bread basket - a billion dollar generating bread basket, and you can’t fault that. Especially as the rest of the country/world benefits significantly from it.

I can assure you that your bottled water is just as likely to contain pharmaceutical residue too (which in reality is actually pretty low- less than 2% of groundwater supplies have ever been found to have traces of pharma) It’s not like they get their water from another planet, and their further bottling/purification

Yes, and their movie selection is actually pretty good. Better than their streaming, i think.

No internet, how bout a HDMI to microUSB cable?

Phones are made to work on just specific bands- not catch-alls. It's a GSM phone, so if you bought it elsewhere, it should work with T-mo or AT&T, but just 3G.

Seriously this.

Two things: 1) Comcast the ISP will find a way to fuck you over on this somehow. I guarantee it.

And the Premier League, and the Olympics etc shit, they've really positioned themselves as indispensable.

This is my question. Cos right now, the NFL/NBA can be huge dicks about which games they let you watch over the internet.

Early reviews out about this doc make it sound like it's just that - Steve Jobs the asshole.

Any 2-bit market survey would have told them that a significant number of those pirating GoT would happily pay for it, but going exclusive and invariably shutting out a large number of people, is not a smart move. It's a safe-get $$$ up front- move.
