Idk if that’s a very objective example. The filmmaker was basically bankrolling Jesse Friedman’s defense. a lot of damning evidence was (conveniently) left out of the doc. Cops are shady, but films can have their own agendas too.

This.
yeah the Mara sisters are like double-billionaire heiresses. Their mother’s family owns the Giants, and someone in their father’s family owns the Steelers.
nah, he meant her other Oscar is from Woody Allen’s “Blue Jasmine”
Keyword still being “contract”. Whichever way you choose to spin it, you’re still bound by their rules for 24 months.
Well I’m not buying a phone, I’m clearly simply renting it. If I wanted to “rent” another device, while staying on the same carrier, why’zit I need to pay for the rest of the device which I’m not even keeping?
If you’re open to Bringing your Own phone, you should look into MVNO’s. Sprint has a number MVNO’s which let you BYOD. It’s the exact same service- I used Republic for a year, and my service quality wasn’t distinguishable from my bf’s who used Sprint.- for a fraction of the Big Carrier cost.
They pretend it’s not a contract, but tying someone down in a 24-month plan, with $XXX amount of money due if you try to leave/switch phones before the time is up, sounds exactly like a contract to me.
That’s the nature of contracts- regardless of the (depreciating) value of the phone, you’re still getting charged X-dollars a month for the “privilege” of being in a contract with Big Carrier, even after 5 years, and the phone is worth <$100
The problem with this, and why people always go back to the Carrier plan- whether contract or installment SCAM (imho)- is the sticker shocker price of smartphones.

On said blog, it clearly states- "Unfortunately for now, we will not be able to provide web client to our iOS users due to Apple platform limitations."
I have a Moto X and the speaker is surprisingly very loud. Its a decent phone, might be last year's specs, but still has very useful "gimmicks" that I definitely use everyday.
