I don't mind changing the internals, but altering that exterior look significantly would be a mistake. There's nothing that screams Jeep more than the Wrangler's big circular headlights and distinctive grille.

One of those between The French Connection and Gone in 60 Seconds is The Seven-Ups (1973). Its chase scene is legendary. The section they used for the supercut starts at about 0:50.

The sides of the thing aren't all that thick, and the overall vehicle is definitely on the smaller side, so I can definitely see where that sentiment comes from. I wonder if the older Cushman variants were any better.
I've always been intrigued by the GO-4 Interceptors. They seem pretty awesome IMO.

This is a fantastic looking motorcycle - I think it looks better without the cowling over the headlight personally. I'm glad that they generally kept the looks classic.
