It was dark blue with a landau top, though I can't recall precisely what color the landau was. It was a two-door as well, and I'm pretty sure that it was too big to be a K-Car.

Fair enough, although subtle changes [e.g. downsizing from their seventies counterparts, altered styling] make them fairly eighties as well. It is undeniable that the 1970s had a sizable role in influencing automotive design during the 1980s in addition.

That's understandable, though the 1986-1989 models did a little less of that than their earlier counterparts. They were still everywhere during the time period though!

Even today, here in Queens, NY, one of the only vintage vehicles I see still on the road are these Town Cars. I'm glad they've kept up in modest popularity. ^_^
