It doesn't get more 1980s than wire hubcaps, a landau top, cloth velour interior, a wood-trimmed dashboard, and chrome. The styling appears to have been done with a ruler, and that's why I love it so much. The Town Car of the era screamed boat-like excess, and yet executive success, in the best way possible.

I was thinking Ford, but the Fiat works too!

It was only because GM ruined the brand(s) with a ridiculous amount of badge-engineering and early-2000s era GM cheapness. Oldsmobile in particular made some fantastic cars back in the day and I would love to see them return, perhaps as a retro inspired brand.

I must give you credit then; supporting something that hasn't quite hit mainstream acceptance surely isn't easy, especially when attempting to explain said "something" to others. :D

The worst part about these ads is that, on certain channels, they'll play at least twice EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN COMMERCIAL BREAK. They've made me do the exact opposite of what they wanted to accomplish; I'll never consider purchasing a 500 just to spite the person that signed off on this campaign.

Does it have a gear-selector on the steering column? I can't quite tell from here.
