Plus his entire story was him realizing “oh wow, toxic masculinity is bad, I’m gonna try to do better.” And then he did. He screwed up along the way, as anyone would, and they probably should have taken more time getting them together, but come ON. I’m not saying everyone has to like the guy, but stop acting like

I will never understand why people were so opposed to Mon-El. Kara never had any chemistry with James. Everything about that plotline was worthless. With Mon-El, Kara hated him for kind of shallow reasons, realized that they were shallow reasons and that he was also charming as fuck, and then they got together and

Eh at this point I’m glad they just wrote him off in a way that made sense. A brand new career for Jimmy every season was a bit much.

Lucy Lawless should be the title of a comic book series.

Or in the case of DCAU Lex, don’t make your new friend (Brainiac) turn you into a computer.

Well actually, way back in ‘58 or so Jimmy Olsen ‘wished’ Supergirl 0.0 into existence as a sort of trial balloon for the actual comic book, so there is a history.

Now playing

And the whole time, I thought one of Superman’s most important lessons was not to make your new friends into computers. . .

  • Like Lena, we all get upset when friends lie, especially when they do so for years. But notice how the rest of us are not plotting deadly revenge or making new friends out of computers?

This was my take too. A story that takes down a U.S. President probably clears the bar for a Pulitzer even if it’s written in crayon. I did wonder whether CatCo Media was really worth $1.3B though.

I mean, to be fair, if someone did a story that resulted in Trump being led out of the White House in handcuffs, they’d probably be a shoo-in for the Pulitzer.

For the Internet, it’s never too early to judge.

Guardian was awful

they are close! I find this season’s SG much more complex than Legends but I enjoy both :)

1. This Supergirl season has been so far the best written season of all Arrowverse’s shows.
So many layers.. I love it!
And no, I do not agree with the reviewer, I believe this is how the story was planned all along. In any case it is masterful how the plot unfolds.
BRAVO Supergirl writers!

Despite whatever issues I might have with this week’s episode, I am still chuckling that last week, we got what everyone was hoping for:

I hope that when the inevitable showdown/meeting between Lockwood and Lex happens, Lex calls his whole movement some amateur crap and tells him that if he really hates aliens he needs to sack up and build a mech suit.

Seeing Snowbird in the brunette wig (a fake-looking wig but a good look for Benoist) almost immediately made me think of the 1984 movie (and the pre-Crisis continuity it’s based on) where Helen Slater’s Supergirl used the brunette wig for her alter ego. My first thought was that I hoped they would have her use the

Red Daughter?!

Kara’s relationships with Alex and Lena are so strong that even Snowbird is drawn to them.

Also, that Snowbird intro.
