NBA 2K15 was the epitome of “we only have this guy for X amount of time, so he does one take for every line.” Which is made even worse when you’re talking about professional athletes who have never done VO work before and sound like they’re seeing the script for the first time when they’re sitting in the booth...

Exactly this. The road to their last playoff appearance involved racking up 10 mostly unimpressive wins against bottom-feeders (they needed a missed FG at the buzzer to beat the BROWNS, for Christ’s sake!), and the actual playoff game was such a rout that I literally muted it halfway through the first quarter and

And what’s even worse is that those 7 years were the best QB situation the Dolphins had post-Marino (besides that one season before Chad Pennington shattered into a million pieces).

The year that we actually made the playoffs recently was pretty similar. Everyone in the world knew there was zero chance we’d win the playoff game and that we only managed to sneak in by racking up wins against the best bottom-feeders the NFL could throw at us. Hell, it took us overtime to beat the 0-16 Browns!

As 7th tiebreakers go, this is probably about as good as you can do at finding one connected in any way to the actual object of the game.

It’s also noteworthy that one of the players on North Carolina FC, the men’s counterpart to the Courage, started the Playing for Pride campaign, and several of Hinkle’s teammates (including Jessica McDonald) are participating/supporting.

But it goes beyond the schools themselves not paying athletes. The more galling thing to me is the athletes not being able to make money off their image...at all...even if it doesn’t come from the school.

Yeah, I’m with you. Based on the way she qualified, it doesn’t really seem like she took anyone’s spot. So she isn’t having any negative effect, and she’s having fun...sounds pretty harmless.

He also just said that Kendall Jenner was being called for a penalty, so it’s been a strong game today from Ronde.

+17 years without a playoff win

It really was a strange explanation from Ball. By his own admission, he was never going to be in any physical danger by helping break up the scuffle, since it wasn’t going to escalate into an actual fight. Nor would he ever get a T for helping steer a teammate back to the bench, as mentioned in the post. So why turn

I had zero stake in this game and was fuming when I saw this overturned on Redzone yesterday. It’s such an overcomplicated and counterintuitive definition.

As fun as that Arsenal goal was, I think this is actually my favorite memory of his time at NUFC. Dude was a brick wall that afternoon.

That stapler is awesome with a capital A, baby! It’s a real PTPer, a prime-time perforator!

Based on the IG follows, I’m guessing that Kobe, Shaq, and Taylor Swift are also headed to the Celtics?

Kiffin clearly graduated from the Roger Dorn Cue Card Academy:

Dolphins fan here: my team isn’t fun to watch under any circumstances...and we made the playoffs!

He was also a pedophile rapist in Atonement, so there’s another one to add to the “asshole” category for sure...

I feel like that scene was the opening of A New Hope that could have been if the special effects were up to it back in 1977. The droids scurrying to the escape pod while Vader absolutely obliterates the small group of Rebels would have been one hell of a way to establish him as a villain.

People like to hate on “I can’t even,” but how else are you supposed to respond to a review like that or the New Yorker one? Good God.
