That’s enough for me. I spent the whole first game being like, “hell yeah, I’m gonna have a purple lightsaber.” Grifted.

I dunno what I thought I was gonna see, but I definitely didn’t think I was just gonna watch some dudes do basketball. Little bit of disappointment here. But only a little.

Yeah, I’m fortunate in that I still like the action gameplay. But I do wish they would toss us a bone and do another FFIX, and go retro. Maybe find a way to speed up, but keep turn-based battles. But just do another throwback game. It’s been like 20 years.

In the meantime, we have Bravely Default, I guess.

Haha, it’s fine. Happens from time to time.

Gonna have to check this out tonight.

Can you change his lightsaber color to cool shit before the end of the game, and is there are duster, are the only things I need to know.

But in all seriousness, I’m glad they made more customization options, because I don’t give a fuck about a poncho.

This might be an insane thing to say, but since I started playing FF games in the early 90s, story has always been lower on the importance ladder than both gameplay and character design/aesthetics. The story could be improv and I wouldn’t care if the characters are cool and the gameplay is good.

Obviously  I appreciate

Based on the vibe in the trailers, I’d be very surprised to even see a Moogle in the game. Were they in a trailer and I missed it?

Hey, I mean, fuck Saudi Arabia. Their state, not their people.

Whoooa, old comment, but I appreciate the feedback. I have Complete Saga, so I’ll just stay there.

What if you just stopped being a bitch? It would be so easy and both you AND everyone else would benefit. Give it a whirl, buddy. I believe in you.

A regular post with regular information about an upcoming game with a regular amount of comments. But based on the Twitter comments, you’d think they released the whole game’s script and footage of the cut scenes. What is happening on Twitter these days? Just wtf?

Edit: Oh, JK, it’s happening here, too.

“Kotaku is

Maybe this bodes well and I can pick it up next month for like 40? I dunno, I’m really broke and only sort-of employed right now. I’ll catch it when it’s less.

Have a nice day, bud. =)

Yeah, I think I remember the controls seemed kinda wonky, though maybe those could have been rebound. And I thought the sound design was really lacking. The guns didn’t feel like they packed a punch. Just kinda meh for first party.

Golly, you’re right. I bet you could use the context and figure out that I meant first-party, though. You’re smart like that.

I honestly had no idea there was a PS4 Killzone. What if they brought that series back but, like, made it better? Because the aesthetic is cool. But none of the games ever felt great to play, to me.

Looks like it’s all console exclusives. Otherwise I imagine RDR2 would have been here, too.

Yeah, part of Vice, which is slashing jobs/departments. It was a good place. I’ve been trying to make a conscious effort to support more sites with my visits than just Kotaku. Unfortunately, I’ve been reading this for so long, it’s hard to make myself branch out, haha.

I mean, I think they could have made the campaign longer, but its brevity is probably part of its appeal. I’ve beaten it straight through four or five times. Would I have done that if it were a 15 hour game? I dunno. Probably not.
