Haha, I’ve thought about doing that, but I feel like the only people who don’t have it are people who wouldn’t touch it. I just wanna spread the gospel. I feel the same way about Call of Juarez Gunslinger. So, so good.

Oh, so you’re not, like, a cool or interesting person. Can Elon interest you in a Twitter Blue account, perchance?

The SOCOM games on PS2 did this. It goes way back.

Seinfeld doesn’t have many good jokes, but he has a joke about this. Something along the lines of, “Superman, thanks for saving me, but did you have to come through the wall? I have a security deposit here.”

Why is this Toby’s first review? You’ve been wasting a valuable resource this whole time. Can’t wait to see what he writes next!

Hard disagree with most of this stuff. I was fortunate that I recognized my inability to handle stuff like this, and I’m better at not getting involved now. I’m also 39. I have decades of bad gaming (among other) decisions, including partially ruining a long term relationship over an MMO that I definitely couldn’t

You absolutely can blame the companies for underhanded tactics to keep people playing. They’re literally exploiting human psychology to make it harder for people to stop.

As you can see from my and other responses, there is a very real FOMO that people deal with at different levels. I know from experience that I will make myself play so as to not miss out, even if I’m not enjoying a game anymore.

I was okay with older versions of seasons, in which it was more like a competitive ladder

Yeah, it just refers to any content that’s playable/repeatable after the traditional end of the game (last boss/dungeon/etc.). Ironically, a lot of games base their whole core around what happens after that point, so if anything, it’s the begingame and everything prior is... the prologue?

Yeah, it was bad enough that they made the switch to seasons. I think either I’m out, or I’m getting it someday on sale and then bailing after I complete whatever singleplayer is out at that time.

Good point.

I should have scrolled down before typing my reply.

Do the lightsaber colors actually mean anything, outside of Sith seemingly sticking with red? I always liked purple and green the best. I didn’t think it really mattered? Rey had a yellow one, didn’t she? She probably wouldn’t have known the significance of the colors, nor would Luke in making his green one. I mean,

Disney World is gonna end up in South Dakota or some shit.

I went up to Stephen King’s house in Maine one time. Random trip on a random day toward the end of summer. I was there for maybe ten minutes, and in that time, I probably saw 20 other people come by to take pictures. It was kind of crazy, but also it was pretty fun chatting with people who were there for the same

I mean, bi doesn’t necessarily mean non-monogamous.

Even if it were 37/37 that were gay/queer/bi/etc., that’s such a tiny sample of that world that you can’t tell anything from it. But as it stands, pretty sure the percentage roughly reflects the real world.

It used to be once or twice a day, maybe. The last week or two, it’s been at least half, if not more, of the posts. Not the end of the world, but annoying.

This is probably it. There’s likely some kind of consent involved versus just Roadhog hooking your team all over the map against their will.

Very surprising to see it’s getting great reviews. I doubt I’ll go to the theater for it, but I’m looking forward to checking it out whenever it comes around to home video options.
