Yeah, I play D.Va and Rein mostly, and it’s so sketchy peeling to go help the support because I’m also watching the rest of the team potentially melt for every second longer I’m not up front.

It is interesting to have it shaken up, though, and her Defense Matrix can be on so much now. I’m getting mitigation numbers

True. He literally turns into a tank.

Yeah, that shit is brutal. I already did my support placements because I was queueing flex and most games I was just getting fucked up in the backline.  Very frustrating, but hopefully it irons out after a season or two.

In the tanks’ defense--and this is probably why I dropped from gold to bronze, haha--I often have a tough time telling which tank will be more effective in a given situation. If I go through the three I’m best at and they’re not working, often I start to panic and struggle harder. And I’ve been doing it for years, so

Yeah, I don’t think I ever had that cohesive team experience. So maybe that’s why it’s different for me. Always seemed like everyone was just doing their own thing. I gotta get some friends.

I think it’s still an improvement. You basically weren’t going to win unless pretty much everyone was doing decently in 1. Or the other team was fumbling even harder than you. One or two strong players just weren’t going to cut it. I do think it’s starting to feel more like individuals can do more, which was the plan.

They made Doomfist into a tank, so I think it’s plausible that they move her to DPS and drastically lower her healing capability. Though they should probably get a couple more support before they take one away.

I dunno, I tank mostly, and it feels like I’m mitigating an insane amount of damage. Though, maybe not as much as two tanks.

One tank that knows their job and at least one healer doing their job well can keep an otherwise not-so-great team afloat.

Agreed on lowering Moira’s DPS. Make it less appealing to focus on damage.

Every single part of playing feels like the early days of Overwatch 1. The influx of new players not understanding the game is aggravating, but obviously to be expected.

Won a game last night because the other team seemingly had no clue they were supposed to be moving the payload. I guess there are benefits.

It would have been pretty sick if we got the credits from duplicates after account merges. I would have been “ballin’.” No that you can use those credits for a ton in 2.

It feels like people railed so hard against loot boxes, that they’re too stubborn to admit, now, that maybe there was something worse. Meanwhile, it seems very obvious that they could have come up with something better if they just tweaked/built on the loot box system.

I don’t mind the battle pass, but I would take

Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggghh.

I don’t think he’s in Brooklyn anymore, Toto.

Mario’s always been a dude that got sucked into the Mushroom Kingdom from the “real world.”

Oh, I’m 38, was in the military for six years, and have worked two jobs for most of my life. Went to college in all that, at the same time. I know what hard work is. And I know that working fast food is hard work.

I used to defend their titling it Overwatch 2, but honestly, they should have shut it down for a year and called it Overwatch: A Realm Reborn.

There’s cool new shit there, and I’m mostly on board, but it’s definitely not a whole different game.

Took me hours to get on yesterday. I played for about an hour and a half when my graphics card crashed the game, or exploded, or something. It does that.

Today I got on within ten minutes after work, but had to leave. Now it’s just not moving. I look forward to a month from now when it just works. If I’m still even

I’m an anti-capitalist, so I don’t think we should be paying anyone anything. We have all the shit everyone needs. I think people should just get the things they need to live a comfortable life, and we can get that if everyone puts in significantly less work than we’re putting in now.

Anything else I can help you with?

They re-implemented open queue a long time ago. There are competitive versions of both.

It’s different almost in the way that OW1 last month was a different game than OW1 at launch. It still feels like Overwatch. If anything, I’d say the changes feel underwhelming, but I think they’re for the better in the long term.
