Because corporations famously listen to their workers’ input on the subjects of work, working conditions, and wages. Somehow that doesn’t quite jive with the constant stories of union busting we see. Or just history in general.

“Low skill” is a bullshit term they use so they can justify paying next to nothing. It’s still hard work.
Wow, 16 whole American dollars?
I haven’t seen the shop, but I imagine you’ll be able to buy battle pass experience just like most other games. So in that way, you’d be able to pay money to bypass things.
There’s the possible distinction that hitting her slept target wakes them? But it is still a stun, I suppose. Just a slightly less effective one.
Nope. I thought they came out a year earlier and later (where relevant). Anyway, no need for HZD. Let’s go Bloodborne on PC.
I do think the difference is, Elden Ring hit. And while that still didn’t sell more copies than HZD, it definitely potentially widened the audience for From’s games. If they got a Bloodborne port/remaster out in the nearish future, it might hit hard and sell significantly more copies than it ever could have before…
It’s From’s game. Is it Sony’s decision to make?
You can likely pay money to buy currency which can be exchanged for skins and whatnot. Games like Fortnite also let you exchange that currency for battle pass levels to skip the grind, so yeah, you’ll probably be able to do that as well. Most companies will gladly bypass the grind for cash. I think that’s kind of the…
That’s half the tanks and I’m sure they took that into account. That’s why tanks were buffed pretty much across the board.
I think with the rework, you’re less crucial to keep the team alive in the sense of providing protection, but I could be wrong.
I mostly tank, too. I think now the kind of player that used to grab D.Va and just fly around willy nilly blasting fools will be able to do a bit more for their team? Seems like they took…
Damn, I would kill to like any game this much, these days. I think I’ve only hit those numbers on a handful of shooters and MMOs. A small handful. Now I’m lucky if I stick with anything past the 10 hour mark.
It’s possible that I never made it far enough into BoTW to not have to worry about weapons. But I played like 25 hours and I was still wondering if I’d have to use a stick as a weapon. I’d have felt a lot more comfortable if I could just use a shitty rusty shortsword for minimal damage versus having to farm weapons.
Agr…
I need all the people arguing that Souls games need difficulty levels to come out and argue that you should just be able to turn off weapon degradation in games that use it with melee weapons. I’ll come to your rally if you come to mine.
I mean, it’s an annoyance at best and it just plain sucks at worst. Dark Souls 2 and Breath of the Wild come to mind as the worst examples. It’s just something I’d rather not deal with in games.
It makes a bit more sense in survival horror as it adds to the element of fear knowing you could end up weaponless, but it…
True, but I can’t imagine most players will want to pay that. So it will still act as a bit of a gate.
All this also kinda helps with smurfs, though people were already willing to buy multiple copies of the game to smurf before. But the “winning” 50 games will make it a lot harder to smurf, too.
Not sure the point of making a list like this if you’re not going to equally divide the entries between Cowboy Boys and A Little Time.
Like 65 percent of Americans can’t afford a 500 dollar emergency. But I could if LEGO would stop releasing these bangers for hundreds of dollars.
Obviously I can’t speak to how well it’s been implemented, but that’s one of the major changes to 2. They’ve tuned things so that counter picking isn’t a core focus anymore, because people don’t like to do it.
Also, I didn’t like rotating hero pools either. Just pointing out that it could be worse, I guess.
Well, they’re not behind a paywall, but it was definitely a bad call to make people have to unlock the characters.
Also, at least a couple of the MOBAs, an arguably adjacent genre, only let you play a handful of characters at any given time, so this isn’t the worst thing in the world?
People are calling him a shill, but…
