That’s how I feel about it. I don’t have to pay anything to play it, so I’ll see what’s up. I’m pretty burnt out on Overwatch and I don’t think it’s gonna be different enough to have longevity, for me. But if it does, great.

Yeah, I don’t really see anything here that any other live service shooter isn’t doing.
Campaign is supposed to come out next year and will probably cost money. This is strictly the PVP stuff right now.
There’s a group of people mad that they’re calling it 2 because they don’t think it’s changing enough, and a group of people mad that the original is “going away.” I dunno if there’s overlap there, too, but it’s proof that there was no winning with some people.
Smart money says just phase out the 2 from the title and…
My current video card is AMD and it just about everything makes it crash. I’m always dealing with it and having to reload my fan settings and personalization. When it works, it works, but it feels like a pretty high percent chance that any given game is going to cause it to fail.
“The Raft” has had me wary when swimming in lakes, ponds, etc. for the better part of my 38 years.
True, maybe. I mean, lots of shooters don’t do that. But I was just mocking the statement generally.
If you ask me—and you did, remember?—having people show up on the minimap takes the thrill out of it. And I’m as casual as they get.
If it ends up being horrendous, I’m sure they can just patch it back in or something…
It is clear that there’s a higher catering to casual players with Infinity Ward’s games, and also clear that they believe casual players enjoying the game is more important than the hardcore player experience.
Gotta say I prefer this to the rotating free heroes in MOBAs.
To be fair, you don’t really see comic books unless you’re interested in comic books. Movies and games are everywhere. It can be a little irksome to see the things you don’t like everywhere you turn. I get it. That being said, I’ve been ignoring sports my whole life, and they’ve only increased their presence in that…
At the very least, the combat should be good.
I need China to get its time in the sun in games. I want this, but China. We might be past vikings for a while, so maybe after we get past Japan.
I mean, that was one writer of many. One comment is too much time to be spending on a site you loathe, my friend. Move on, maybe? For your mental health.
Fortunately the statement has nothing to do with you, personally, unless... you’re royalty?
Okay, that’s fair. I mean, obviously she is the character. I just thought I saw something that was like, “Nuh uh! It’s not a fox girl!” That makes sense. I can’t even keep up anymore, haha.
Yeah, I have entirely too much faith in Blizzard as someone who grew up with them. I’m hoping to god they justify my defending them, but I’m also not holding my breath. Here’s hoping, I guess.
Shirley Curry is like 85 and still plugging away at Skyrim. You’ve got time.
I don’t know if there’s any way to tell concurrent players, but it seems like there are still plenty of people playing. I pop on once in a while. Played last night and never had to wait for games or anything.
I think there’s still interest, there just really isn’t hype anymore, which is pretty understandable.
Agreed, though. Free track is better than paid track, but why are they locking characters at all? I guess League and similar games just have rotating free characters, so at least it’s not that? But the heroes are the main draw. Make them available.
I just started playing Fortnite in August, and it’s the first battle pass I’ve ever worked on. I have to say, if Blizzard does it similarly, it shouldn’t be that intrusive in your life. I only play Fortnite once in a while and I’m level 65 of the 90 you need to get all the content. I also came into the season, like,…
