I am so sorry. I had to go through a similar experience when, putting down my 17 year old buddy and companion, George, solo. The (now ex) Mrs. Jabroni was out of the country, tending her family as her father had died a few days before. She lost her dad, I lost my friend. It’s not easy to go through alone.
