“Iconic” is overused and has lost its meaning. There are other words in the English language that convey a similar (or possibly even a better) meaning. Perhaps they could be researched. “Iconic” is the lazy word of the year.

Oh I didn’t grow up in Denver. I grew up about 350 miles away, and we got all the Denver stations because it was the closest major market.
I don’t write my cover letters to match my CV, I write my cover letters to illustrate the fit of the job requirement to my CV. Yeah, it means I write a lot of cover letters when I am job hunting, but writing practice is no bad thing.

Comes and goes. I use this phone for work (and claim a portion of my data plan usage for tax). I’ve looked into other data plans. None are as unlimited as my current one, and the overage charges are hideous.

I think Being Human was the last series I’ve followed on Fox. Honestly, these guys couldn’t organize a pissup in a brewery, so I’ve more or less given up on broadcast TV. I just wait for streaming. Or the Blu-Ray to show up at the library.
