I disagree with absolutely every assertion Erik writes here, and hope that AB5 dies the miserable death it so richly deserves.

Buick uses the standard cruise control button on the steering wheel for both adaptive and normal cruise control. You can switch between those functions through the software (by holding the cancel button). FCA brands separate them with two different buttons on the steering wheel.
agreed, leave the political bs out of vehicle reviews. FFS, this is one reason why we read sites like this in the first place. Though anyone still thinking they could avoid being bombarded with political crap on this particular site is severely mistaken.
I love this truck and I do love Jalopnik, I’ve been a follower since 2008. But for the love of god, can you guys just write automotive articles without predicating them on heated and politically debated topics. Just providing a hyperlink doesn’t add to any credibility and it takes away from the actual content at…
But, everything that makes it impressive, also makes it feel tone deaf in the face of the reality of 2020. The real unemployment rate in America is over 26 percent, more Americans are behind on their car payments than ever in history, and the majority of American adults have less than $1,000 in savings. Not to…
This whole review sounded like a tree hugger going to work at a lumber mill...Why did you even go?
Go read the Car and Driver or Motortrend articles. They both said it had excellent on road manners. I guess they are more used to driving trucks and aren’t scared of its’ size like Bradley.
Fixed it for you!
I’m not sure how scarfing down food strategically but without any enjoyment makes one a hero.
Given the mere decision to eat-in at a restaurant involves plenty of internal debate these days, I’d rather hear this guy wax poetic about the meals and restaurants he misses.
It seems strange that these systems somehow get a free pass to go out and give it a go, why not, when other companies testing autonomous driving systems have to get permits in most states, including Tesla’s home state of California. If this is really supposed to be “full self-driving,” why would these cars not need…
The most important part of the announcement - that the price of the package is increasing by $2,000. For a system that’s NOT fully self-driving. The cost is now $10,000 for the package.
Has Tesla programmed it to Avoid this when playing Harry Potter Movies?
1st Gear: Blame it on having to peddle shit cars for three decades. $7K rebates, constant aggressive discounts and special financing just to move metal. Then when the mothership actually started making some decent products, the mentality of the dealerships didn’t change. They still don’t care about the cars, just how…
There’s no way in hell this makes it to a hearing.
Illegal gaming system? Like one of those bootleg NES systems you can get from the trunk of the shady guy behind the mall?
I’d guess that it’s not just a side gig, but also a solid marketing tool that pays him to raise awareness of his business. Win-win for everyone involved.
Not to defend our insane system here, but this kind of stuff isn’t covered by government-run healthcare anywhere else, either. For example, in Canada if you suffer some kind of spinal injury, the costs of modifying your car, home, etc. and buying a power wheelchair are on you (or supplemental insurance, if you have…
I’m not putting these numbers out there so you think that your friend McParland is Mr. Moneybags...
Only 300 miles from a 200 kWh battery?!?!? This thing is less efficient than a full size pickup running on gasoline.
