You haven’t lived until you try snail sausage from the local Vietnamese market (got mine from a Banh Mi shop (forgive spelling)).

i had no idea that the crackers, meat, and cheese and maybe a couple pickle slices or olives i throw on a plate in the five minutes i get between remote meetings qualified as rich people food. someone please tell that to my bank balance and pay grade. $1.99 organic rice crackers and coupon-cost cheese forever, y’all.

“...it was ugly and tacky and glorified a less than mediocre fast food chain...”

to me this doesn’t even matter if you’re a man or a woman or whatever you identify as - it’s about compromise and support in a damn marriage. if he wants one part of his house (not just hers, his too) to look the way he wants, i think she needs to support that and get the eff over herself. especially given the

Agree here. Liquidity is (should be) a big consideration in personal finances and is often downplayed in the comments here. With this or with very low interest loans you’re often much better to have the flexibility/peace of mind/options of keeping your hands on the cash.

Agree with $0 down on the lease when possible. GAP insurance doesn’t get your down payment back.

One would think Tesla would want the part back for analysis, and the easiest way to make that happen is to replace it under warranty.

It’s got to be a soul-sucking thing to hear management at Nissan say, “We’ve got to target the Kia demographic to move these Versas and Sentras.”

People with poor credit?

You would think it would be this simple. But I bet they know they have a major problem and they would likely have to make someone an example and actually yank a license, which they probably don’t want to do because that also costs money, dings the brand, and distresses the shareholders.
