Small difference being extortion involves violence or at least threats of violence.

Whoever it is I hope they’ve got up to date tetanus shots.

In your first example you’re confusing copyright with trademark. You do have to consistently defend trademarks to keep them, you have no such obligation to retain copyright.

Yeah, no one has ever criticized non-union shops or politicians, especially on Jalopnik. Keen observation.

I dunno why variable rate shipping would be hard to do, already works in a lot of other places. “Enter zip code for shipping estimate”.

Fair enough, I don’t have much interest in MMOs these days so I wasn’t tracking how they fund the game. No monthly fee, but at $50 I’d still expect a game further along in development than this appears to be.

Potential is what you want to see in early access/beta games. By the time you’re charging monthly you should’ve realized that potential.

Where are the hookers and blackjack?

To me there are 3 types of cars: appliances, “flings”, and forever cars. You don’t worry about miles on appliances; their whole purpose is to soak them up with minimal drama. My first manual driving experience was on my Mom’s 15 year old Porsche Boxster. I wasn’t allowed to learn on it when it was new (understandable), and got to learn on it once my Mom decided she was willing to sell it. Before anyone gets mad, I ended up buying it so no stranger got burned on an old Porsche with a

Agreed, much better than what you’d get from a private seller for instance. Just pointing out that your starting position when buying a used car should be “this thing is probably broken and the seller isn’t going to speak to me again once I drive off”. You get inspections to mitigate the first part, you shouldn’t

I, for one, welcome our new potato overlords.

This.

Hey, it’s this logic again.
