I get the beef with Tesla, and I get not liking Elon Musk on a personal level.

This works if only Tesla drivers get affected, which isn’t true. Everyone on the road gets to be part of the beta test, many of us didn’t sign up for it and don’t want our lives at risk so you can play with your new, poorly designed toy.

Florida Man doesn’t see color.

It’s a bad shoot from what we know, but this isn’t a good argument. The US Marshals exist explicitly because people with warrants run and aren’t easy to find.

That is true, there are tradeoffs. I can say that my Mk7 has been remarkably problem free, the only problems it’s had in the ~55k miles I’ve had it were due to modifications I made or because rabbits ate some wiring.

My sister and brother-in-law ended up building for basically that reason (among a few others). They do not plan on having children, but all the “nice” properties were built with kids in mind.

At the risk of pulling a No True Scotsman here, anyone who brushes off police action like this isn’t a libertarian.

Yeah, my Dad is a PhD in microbiology so I was likely more qualified to teach my high school biology class by the time I got there than my teacher was.

He can certainly question it. If both alleged parents had brown eyes, the child can still have blue eyes if both parents had the recessive blue eye gene AND passed it along. This becomes increasingly less likely the more generations you go without a blue eyed person in the gene pool.

Ah, I forgot the power off means password required on many devices. Thanks for the clarification.

It’s a lot of writers around here.

Did you have a kid in class who couldn’t explain his blue eyes given his alleged parents?

The “tow operator will have one” thing is a big gamble unless this part has remain unchanged forever.

And don’t use biometrics, you can be compelled to provide a fingerprint or facial picture. You cannot be compelled to provide a password/passcode.
