I never got the impression that it was supposed to be a cohesive story entirely, more like something along the lines of X-Files. Something different happens in every episode with some of the same cast and all and maybe some of the episodes are connected but not always..

Great cameo by Garnet from Steven Universe:

Exactly. In fact I think the show, even more than the book, emphasises the fact that this isn’t really a “Lovecraft story with black people” but rather it’s about using elements of Lovecraftian lore, as well as other references to that time period, both from reality and pulp-fiction, to explore the black experience,

I’ve been thinking of it as X-Files with an African-American family. Which is awesome since these types of shows never had a good history of minority representation. I also like these characters and how smart and nerdy they are.

I lOVE this actress. Anyone remember her as Diane, the sexy, evil Vamp on season 1 of True Blood? They wasted her with only three appearances, but I thought she was a great presence and represented what was really sexy and dangerous about Vamps. Her character and performance really has really stuck In my head.

I mean, at the second episode, it was very clear that this was an anthology series with through-lines, and I don’t know that it’s fair to expect things to wrap up in a cohesive fashion. That’s not what the show’s trying to do.

Loved the trailer. Gave us enough to thrill without showing us too much. I wouldn’t want Ahsoka/Sabine/RexOrBoba to be spoiled.

From a certain point of view

Alternate theory:
Mando is seeking info on the most recent/famous Jedi, Luke Skywalker, and ends up on Tatooine and Hoth looking for clues/info about him.

Baby Yoda closing his dome is def my new go-to NOPE gif.

I take it as a sign they’ll show how the Rebel Alliance transforms into the New Republic and how it functioned. Or didn’t.

Eh, other characters in the show do show more outward emotions, and the laconic wit of the Mandalorian fits with the dryer delivery.

did everybody just forget what Ahsoka looks like in a hood?

i propose Christ-illiam

I haven’t seen anyone mention it anywhere yet, so I’ll do so: “Hillary” is played by the same woman who was the unofficial law enforcer in Ardham (the woman with the dogs). I don’t know if that’s supposed to indicate anything. (Was that person also a magical shell containing someone else? Is Christina simply

Exactly what do they do with all those gory skin-suits that they burst out of every day? It seems like there should have been a couple of bloody Hillary-skins left around that somebody had to discover.

I want to know how Montrose got rid of the body so quickly and cleanly. Also, when Ruby was at the southside bar, I thought Leti, Tic, or Montrose was going to spot her. Eventually, that’s going to happen because all three have a history with the white woman that Ruby inhabits (That’s going to be wild). In terms of

Not a fan of revenge rape even if I can understand why they went there with Ruby.

Cottage Visit

Growing up I had been extremely close to my grandma. She lived only 5 minutes away from my family for most of my life, so we saw her all the time and for EVERY special event in my childhood. I had a bit of a strained relationship with my mom when I was younger, so my grandma was the person I would go-to for all the
