It’s always the ones you most expect.

Well, what a horrible time for these sexual assualt allegations to come to light, right as he plans a run for Senate.

The lastest MAGA response is that these guys are the subject of smear campaigns by the left “See, why is it our heroes always turn out to be sex offenders? It’s because the left is doing hit pieces on them!”

Grifters like Ballard always gravitate to the far/alt right because they know that demographic will continue to blow them hard without any questioning.

I get that vibe from so many of those guys.

It’s almost like there is a very real and personal reason behind every move to fictionalize what sex trafficking actually is.

This is the least surprising news ever. It’s sad, but “MAGA conservative gung ho about anti-sex trafficking being a sex predator” is an easy guess.

To be fair, he only said he was opposed to trafficking. He never said he was against sexual assault.

I've long said that millennials were just Boomer Mk2, right down to that puritanical moral certainty in their own beliefs, and willingness to use their demographic's numbers to enforce them. Give it another 20 years and they'll be the same political nightmare Boomers are now.

Gen Z and Millennials seem nothing alike. Gen Z seems closer to Gen X than Millennials in values (which kind of makes sense - Gen Z was raised by Gen X parents). Meanwhile, as Millennials are getting older they are starting to turn into their Boomer parents (minus the wealth)!

The Onion Union, which at least covered the AV Club staff before they were forced out by the move to LA, is part of WGA-East. Unclear whether the new writers are part of the union.

I suspect most of these videos are staged

This is accurate, one addition, remember he used to go out with Anne Coulter, so imagine the hate fucking there.

Sure, Jann.

Bill Maher truly is the thinking man’s complete fucking moron.

I basically came here just to say fuck him for basically creating the sexist foundation of the rock vs pop debate because he was a John Lennon fanboy that wanted to separate the music he liked from what women liked.

There is so, so much to unpack here regarding Wenner and how The Masters ended up the way that it is. At it’s core, it’s not complicated: His entire career is/was guided by biases that he refuses to recognize and combat. Thus, a rock retrospective that looks very little like the actual history of rock and roll, but

Ha. That’s an interesting comparison. One random thing I liked about Dennis Miller was that he used esoteric political references that obviously were intended for the 2% of his audience that were insanely well-read.

So he’s like Dennis Miller but had a career past 9/11?

Maher is the poster child for "being a contrarian just means you let other people make up your mind for you differently"
