It’s because it’s inherent in the conservative base that morality derives not from ones actions but from what group one is a member of. No matter what they do, a conservative is inherently ‘good’ because they are a conservative.

When you have character and can feel actual shame, you will either A) not do those things or B) if you do you, will accept the consequences and show contrition.

Franken’s elected by Democrats, who care about this stuff, and Boebert is elected by Republicans, who don’t.  I guess the “justice” comes from the fact that you’re always free to vote for the party that doesn’t care about misconduct by its members, but you (for good reason) don’t make that choice.

It amazes me how quickly the FACT that she was an escort is forgotten. Why did that not become a bigger story. There are pics of her escorting, there are ads from when she was doing it. This stupid vaping story got more attention than her being a hooker.
