So I double checked - Florida DOES tax boats at 6% of the value.  But Florida changed the law to cap the tax bills for boats to $18,000.  So the owner instead of paying 6% of $3.3 million, would be capped at $18,000.  So nearly a 90% discount versus a home...

I haven’t considered it on my truck. I used can after can under my ‘49 Ford when I put new floors in. When I worked at a shop building hotrods we’d use a product intended for bedlining. It's called Raptor and lays out nicely.

This was a neat read. I really like these DIY projects that kind of “bring the most” out of the car you have. Your sound deadening and insulation mods are something I feel like a lot of people would overlook without realizing how much they can do for their car’s refinement.
