I have worked for an insurance carrier that covers these long haul trucking risks. This is pretty common. It makes it harder for legit new venture companies to get insurance. You have to check out individual driver histories because those actually stick.

I’ve been visiting several national parks near the middle of the country over the past several weeks and have seen quite a few of these. They look good and seem to encourage people to get out and explore even if they’re not driving on anything more hardcore than some gravel.
