I have worked for an insurance carrier that covers these long haul trucking risks. This is pretty common. It makes it harder for legit new venture companies to get insurance. You have to check out individual driver histories because those actually stick.

I’m impressed by this example. Luminas and Celebritys were fairly common cars back when I was in high school 20 years ago and even then they all seemed to have horribly failing paint. Not sure who would want this, but probably NP to someone.

Oh, so don’t use qtips that cost $5. Instead I’ll take time off of work and pay a fortune to see a doctor. Good advice.

Cool car in a great color. The price seems very nice as well. Are you up to 20+ cars now?

Motorcycles are so cheap. For the price of a fancy e-bike you can pick up a cycle with a 1.8L engine instead of pedals? That’s a deal!

In England they call them crisps.

I refuse to believe this isn’t all 100% true.

He probably didn’t have any room to store them...

I’m amazed you drive around in a Yugo and carry absolutely no tools in it. I mean, I guess you don’t want anyone breaking into it because a broken window would probably total the car, but you could throw some zip ties in the glove box (can’t remember if it has one). Or hose clamps, a screwdriver, and a set of

What did these go for new back in the day? It had to be around this price, right?

If code enforcement isn’t making you clean up your mess, it means you don’t have a problem, right?

Don’t you have about a dozen cars you could loan to her?

Your MIL is more of a Jalop than a lot of posters here!

Yeah, but Costco is actually a decent employer.

Great photos and titles/captions.

I like how Mercedes just buys a new car for every roadtrip she takes.

I’ve been visiting several national parks near the middle of the country over the past several weeks and have seen quite a few of these. They look good and seem to encourage people to get out and explore even if they’re not driving on anything more hardcore than some gravel.

Ah, I always get them mixed up.

Sweet Bimmer. I’m trying to decide who has the most Jalop fleet. It’s down to you and Mercedes, but I think the wagon might give you the edge.

Awful. It’s almost as if financial literacy isn’t a required subject in the USA. At least everyone knows that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
