Exactly. Some vets even recommend prescribed fasting on occasion because it more accurately represents the cat’s natural eating behaviors.

I hope you have a job writing somewhere, because that was just fantastic.

You’re lucky. I didn’t even get to go hungry when my mom made inedible cube steaks or Hamburger Helper for the 4th time in a week.

about 5 years ago I switched to Sprint specifically because everyone I knew with Sprint had excellent service everywhere they went (even camping in pretty remote areas). For some reason, it hasn’t worked that way for me. I rarely even see the 4G pop up and often lose basic phone signal in not-that-remote places. WTF?

Definitely not just women. Friend of mine - a mostly rough and tumble veteran in his late 50s - is watching these marathons non-stop almost every time I visit. Its the kind of crap my dad used to watch too.

The entire offseason (actually going back to mid-season last year) has been an exercise in denial. Like being on a plane and one of the engines quits.

I want to star this more than once.

I’m confused. Are you saying “sweetheart” is gendered? Cause it isn’t. Condescending in this context? Yes. But gendered no (and nearly sexist to suggest that it is).

Good god. Perhaps I was naive to think he’d actually turn things around.

I know the “Fuck me” meme is generally reserved for WYTS, but as someone who recently traded for Foster in a dynasty league...

Who is supposed to be ejecting the guy that is ejecting guys?

That toss at Donaldson’s head sure looked a hell of a lot more intentional than even the grazing that Escobar took.

Agreed, it seems pretty obvious to me. As others have mentioned, we’re raised with the cultural idea that if you’re really into someone you have to show them through persistence, and though Hollywood presents this in a way that would be straight-up creepy in real life, we all participate in some form or another.

That GIF is perfect. I love how it makes it look like Escobar is having a ‘50 Cent first pitch’ moment and spiking the ball on the ground for Infante to pick up and toss back. Rinse, repeat.

I work in digital marketing and this is just... the logic and math is unbelievably fuzzy here. No one I know would try to put the numbers together like this. I would be fired if I ever submitted a report with logic this terrible.

I hate these non-catch rules. I hate the Cowboys too, but that was a friggin catch. Unless the player uses the ground to retain the ball, it should be a catch.

I remember one of the books had the dinosaurs escaping the island to other nearby places with people. I don’t recall them really addressing what happens to all the flying dinos that escaped.

Yes, it is so much cooler to suck on shitty, stinky cigarettes.

Ok, I’m sorry. I wasn’t going to respond anymore, but I just love that you posted a quote that explains the whole concept perfectly, but somehow, you still don’t get it. A+

Ok, maybe YOU are talking about retroactive perception of time, but this article and the rest of us are firmly talking about perception in the moment. We’re talking about how driving a few hours feels like nothing to a parent and an eternity to a child.
