I don’t know if it’s the concussions or just some good, old fashioned, right wing indoctrination, but Aaron Rodgers used to present as pretty normal and even thoughtful.

One of my everlasting 80's crushes. Caddyshack, Tron, and the CBS Indiana Jones ripoff show, Bring ‘Em Back Alive. I was always surprised that she didn’t have a bigger career being that she was stunning, intelligent, and had decent comedic timing but, when I think about it, none of the big-eyed, beautiful TV blondes

Yeah, the COVID era turned a LOT of brains into fucking pudding. People on the online right went from swallowing a red pill to deep throating the entire fucking bottle.

I watched the special. While I am not excusing any of the ableist or transphobic remarks, I think the bigger problem with this special is that I didn’t laugh once. I have to admit to being part of the problem as even though I don’t think I’ll laugh and I haven’t, I have still watched Chapelle and Gervais’ specials, I

You can't do this anymore kids!  Says the man who is doing this for a worldwide audience...

There’s a certain threshold past which you stop thinking a comedian is just taking swipes at a certain group of people and start believing he just actively hates them. I think Chappelle crossed it several specials ago.

I guess he went from transgressive to trans-aggressive.

I didn’t expect to see this set, but I was at my parents’ home when they decided to watch. (While I educate where I can, I don’t police what my family watches.) So, I sat through this before reading about it. And, I have to say, this article nails it. He sounds like an old fool; one of those guys you’ll hear in any

Deeply disappointing. His early and middle work was genuinely transgressive, but he’s turned into a intransigent crank.

I tried watching a bit of the Gervais one to see how bad it was, and it was just...weird. Like, the most Boomer takes imaginable. Kept going on about things you “can’t” do anymore, or things you “have to” do these days, and I just kept thinking like, what world is this guy living in?

“Bottom text”! Classic!

Dude’s...definitely committed to becoming the IRL version of his Nutty Professor character.

I ... Wow. I’ve been playing NES Tetris (poorly) since the early 90s and I didn’t know this was even possible.

I guess I don’t really understand what “making sure the jokes are aimed at the right people” means, but I find John Mulaney funny and Gervais...not.

He was FUNNY

I demand that everytime someone praises the Office or Extras they strongly note Stephan Merchants writing.  Everything Gervais writes that Merchant isn't involved with is notably shittier.

I gotta say it, boss. 66!

Had a brief moment of terror when I clicked “Next slide” after the intro one and saw “65.” No way I’m digging through that many disappointing movies!

I mean the category is very clearly Comedy OR Musical but go off I guess!

It’s an industry wide problem. We watched Violent Night the other day and Prime Video uses “Action·Comedy·Serious·Thoughtful” as descriptors.
