Pfft, more like Irresolute D

I’m glad Elf comes from the era of the 90-minute comedy; if this had been stretched to bloated two-hours-plus Judd Apatow length, I think Buddy would become impossible to tolerate.

I feel like I’ve seen at least half a dozen different ads and trailers for this movie, and none of them seem to have any overlapping plot points.

Yeah, and everything worked out great for him!

Wait, don’t they know the immigrants are taking all the ‘Black jobs’???

I’m reminded of the Maibatsu Monstrosity: “I’m a marketing manager who lives in the suburbs and commutes to work on the highway.  I live alone, so of course I needed a car that could seat 12 and is equipped to drive across arctic tundra.  It just makes me feel better!”

Little Johnny Collins

It helps that they’re playing Dookie and American Idiot in full on most dates. My family lives in central PA and I’m taking my sister to see the Hershey show.

The Batman Forever soundtrack is excellent as well, and much better than the source material.

My favorite moment from the prequels was when I saw Attack of the Clones in the theater, and when Anakin gave the sand speech, the entire room started laughing.

Very cool process, but who edited that time lapse video, Darren Aronofsky?

We’ve got to be approaching the point (if we haven’t already surpassed it) where there is a cast member who was not yet alive for Kenan’s first episode.

Flaherty was sublime in Freaks and Geeks, and I loved him on SCTV, but I’ll also always have a soft spot for his role as a ne’er-do-well Muppet-napper in Follow That Bird.

“I’m surrounded by assholes!”

Yeah, but that slime ended up everywhere.

The Amanda Show character name “Penelope Taint” was an intentional innuendo

Don’t Trust the W in Apartment Twenty-Throubleyou

On another note, last night I saw a sold-out showing of Moonstruck at one of the arthouse/revival theaters here in town. That movie was up for Best Picture and lost to The Last Emperor, but I would wager a showing of that film in 2024 would not have sold as many tickets.  The Oscars often get it wrong when it comes to

I’m reminded of Foreigner’s “Waiting for a Girl Like You”, the second-biggest hit song of 1981-1982, which spent 10 weeks in the #2 slot of the Billboard Hot 100, nine of them behind the biggest hit song of 1981-1982, Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical”.

I put in a solid 120 hours on the second game on the PS4, I thought it ran fine.
