There are so many better choices than It pt. 2 (which was bad, but in a bland and average way) or either Pet Sematary (both disposable but fun with a few cool moments).

They don't even mention Maximum Overdrive!

It’s a combination of bad writing, overacting, truly crappy FX, and an odd TV-movie sappiness underlying it all. The only one not overacting was David Morse, and he just walked around with a vaguely half-scared/half-constipated look on his face. And the “everyone jumping excitedly into the air with a big YEAH!!!”

For whatever reason, I often find myself enjoying a lot of these really bad ones. In particular, I watch The Langoliers anytime I randomly stumble across it because it makes me laugh a lot (Dean Stockwell reminds me more of Doc Brown than Shatner, but I can see where you’re coming from). Similarly, The Tommyknockers ho

Life, uh, finds a way.

As I understand it, male fertility tends to *sharply* decline after a man turns 50 or so—it declines somewhat throughout the 40's, but it really starts to dip after 50.

The Republicans are losing their minds over anything and everything Disney-related these days because Disney has officially been deemed by them as being “too woke” now and “grooming” children (whatever that means). This movie checks all the Republican-rage checkmarks, especially since Ariel is played by a black person.

This is why user ratings are trash. Say what you will about the validity of putting critics’ reviews on a pedestal, but I can at least trust that rotten tomatoes is reporting opinions from people with a modicum of media literacy who have actually experienced the film and not just the brigading of troll or stan

Just read actual reviews by movie critics or even your favorite Youtube streamer. Still likely a better gauge than randos posting 0 ratings on Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes.

If you find yourself engaging in this type of behavior.......this is why nobody likes you.

Everybody else finally learning the lesson that Rotten Tomatoes learned in 2019 after Captain Marvel: Make people prove they saw the movie before they rate it.

We got the HBO Max not available in your region screen, and then a link to download the Max app. Pretty painless as the new Max app remembered our account and logged us in automatically. About 2 minutes out of my life. (If this helps - Samsung smart TV, your results may vary)

Worked fine for me; autologged me in after I downloaded the new app on my AppleTV. Anecdotal evidence FTW!

WGA member on strike here. I know the opinion I’m going to express here will not be popular but cracking down on password sharing is not only logical but it’s necessary.

They are very unclear on how this all works. They say it’s just for your household but that you can use it on the go but they don’t explain how they determine “your household”.  Are the restricting access to one IP at a time?   Or some other method?  What if my wife wants to watch a show on her lunch break and I do

Try Bud Dry the Last Man

Well I wasn’t planning on watching Pentatonix: Around The World For The Holidays this weekend but I guess I have to

Wow I know Willow was cancelled a month or so ago but with gay and bi characters you would think they would keep it around just to piss off Florida.

Is this the modern version of them throwing stuff back into the Disney vault?

Especially Turner and Hooch!
