When you figure out what actually happened in the “lust” segment of the film... the mental images are far worse than anything they could have shown.

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father.

I’d have included Takashi Miike’s Audition from 1999 to the list.

American History X is arguably more important now than when it came out.

I don’t want to watch the whole thing but I’ve replayed that scene of the Fascist’s death (“Your son will never know your name!”) over and over again.

It’s not a bad list but a weird one, since it implies that all these movies are worth watching once.

When this question is asked on forums around, the top answer is usually Irreversible.

I felt this way about Pan’s Labyrinth. Gorgeously shot, dark as HELL, even more viscerally violent than I was expecting. Glad I saw it, never again.

Loder really was a top-notch anchor—or whatever the MTV equivalent would be—and his announcement that Cobain was dead was Cronkitesque. Soren had her moments, too.

My main takeaway from this list is that the Cure are an incredible band. There’s probably 100 songs that didn’t make the list that I’d probably put in place of a lot of what’s on there, but I also can’t argue with what did make the list and that speaks to the incredible depth and breadth of their catalogue. I do like

I would quibble with the order of almost all of these, but it’s a good enough list. Happy to see “From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea” and the live version of “Trust” on here. I’d have gone with the Closer Mix of “Close to Me” from All Mixed Up instead of the original. “A Letter to Elise”, “Mint Car” and especially “Bu

I mean… writers don’t get paid by the actor’s ego, so…

I hear that stuff is made in NEW YORK CITY!!!

The nameWednesday” is derived from the name of Odin, another spelling/pronunciation is Woden. So, Woden’s Day became Wednesday.”

You’d think the heir to the Ortega Taco Kit fortune* would be more in touch with the Everyman.

I think she particularly objected to Wednesday reacting in stereotypical teenage girl ways to the love triangle stuff which she correctly identified as the weak point of the season & a betrayal of the character. The writers should appreciate her help fixing that frankly

I genuinely can’t tell from some of these comments whether they’re being intentionally self-deprecating and humorous (you know, to show off the wit you’re losing by not having professional writers) or genuinely embittered. “Rewriting is writing! See you at the line, Jenna!” gives real passive-aggressive energy, but “Wi

Two things can be true: the writing on Wednesday was not good, and also even mediocre writers don’t deserve to be treated like temp workers.

She’s been a working actor since she was 3, and explained to the director and the script supervisor why she was changing the lines. When does she earn that right?

“The script supervisor thought that I was like going with something and then I would have to sit down with the writers and they would be like ‘Wait, what happened to this scene?’ And I would have to go through and explain why I couldn’t do certain things.”
