Was anyone else here particularly disturbed by the scene where the women gets sucked into the computer and transformed into an android?   I could never watch this scene as a kid.

Gave us the plot to Office Space, so there’s that.

The original subtitle was Smokey Is the Bandit because the original plot was that Justice was to take the place of the Bandit since Burt and director Hal Needham had decided to move on from the franchise. I have long held that ‘Alien Lanes’ is a lesser bands Greatest Hits.

Nice list. I agree it’s pointless to argue ranking and there are a few subs I would make. I won’t argue that it’s their best song at this point in my life but “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)“ will always be me favorite. Document was the first R.E.M. album that I heard when it came out as

1. “Sitting Still.”

The greatest American band of all, perhaps.

I know making a list like this is impossible but good lord  any list without either Harborcoat or Pretty Persuasion is a list not worth making.
