That It’s Always Sunny spec script really felt an actual episode. This one came up a little short for me, but maybe it’s too difficult to get back into the mindset of Season 2 of a nine-season show. It’d be like doing a Parks & Rec spec script that focuses on Mark Brendanawicz.

The randomness of these nominations remind me that they’re voted on by fewer than 100 people.  

The two biggest influences on my own songwriting and guitar playing have been Billy Corgan and J. Robbins. My last band hired Robbins to produce one of our albums, and it was a great experience; I’m not sure I could make it through coffee with Corgan.

I’m just glad Sean Connery and Alex Trebek aren’t alive to see this.

I remember when the news broke a few weeks ago that he had ‘stage 4 cancer’, which didn’t reference an initial site and even then included language about ‘keeping him comfortable’, so I was afraid this was coming.  RIP.

Nice to see Welcome to Wherever You Are represented here. I turned fully towards college radio and 120 Minutes in ‘92, and those formats (along with reliable album rock) kept INXS relevant during that period; I certainly played Welcome a lot that summer.
