So, I’m not sure if the methodology is different here than it was in the other lists, but if it’s the same (ie, in a Top 15 list, #1 gets 15pts, #2 gets 14pts, and so forth), then the final list appears to be out of order. Using that methodology, films #1-7 are in the correct order, and then the rest of the top 40

Here’s the rest of the top 40, if I understand the methodology:

Just please tell me that Assholes With Arms In Them got verified ahead of time.

I watched ABC’s The Stand as it aired, having not (at that point) read the book, and I enjoyed it immensely. I was then very psyched to watch ABC’s follow-up mini-series The Langoliers, which... hoo boy.

Here’s the rest of the top 40, assuming I understand the methodology correctly:

Next up: Scrantonicity reunion!

Hey now, just because I watch movies on the toilet doesn’t mean my phone screen is cracked!  HOW DARE YOU SIR!

“Hey, we’re basically shooting the Home Alone script over again, this time in New York. Donald Trump’s already signed on. Who should we get to play the bag lady? Oscar winner Brenda Fricker?”

I would argue it did not go terribly, seemed like a success to me!

You know, I didn’t dislike Melinda and Melinda so much as I can’t really recall a thing about it, aside from the premise. I wasn’t actively repelled by it like I was by Hollywood Ending (which, bizarrely, got better critical notices.)

Yeah, Match Point and Midnight in Paris each have leading men and women who are within a decade of each other, and pretty much all the leads in Blue Jasmine are middle age. Allen does often use younger men who are stand-ins for him, though (Owen Wilson in Midnight, Jesse Eisenberg in Cafe Society, etc.)

Here in MA, we’ve got ranked-choice voting on the ballot this year. It made a big difference in ME-02 in 2018, where the R candidate beat the D candidate by a few tenths of a percent, but when the votes of the ~8% who went for a third-party candidate were redistributed, the D candidate emerged victorious, again by a

I was in Paris this time last year, and this movie was playing in lots of theaters there and was postered heavily. I actually wasn’t sure it was going to be released stateside at all.

I really don’t care, do u?

Finally, the First Lady and I agree on something.

Bruce approaches album covers the way Oprah approaches O.   “Hey, how about a picture of me?”

Oh please, Eric isn’t even Trump’s 20th favorite child, let alone 2nd.

“Who the hell is Baron?” asked the President.

He also criticized Michelle for having out-of-date coronavirus death numbers, because another 20,000 people had died since she had recorded it. (Seriously.)

Yeah, I mean, the water in June on the north shore of Massachusetts is often in the mid ‘50s, and it’s one thing to dip your toe in, maybe even swim for a few minutes, but cannonballing into those temps from a rope swing sounds like a great big NOPE.
