Hart is the policy holder, hence you would have to sue him. I’m not saying that’s what is happen here, but it’s definitely a possibility.
Not necessarily. If he wins a settlement, it’s probably coming out of Hart’s insurance. It is not uncommon to sue friends to force an insurance payment.
Of course, the Cowboys are still in the NFC East...
I imagine he holds back on endorsements to not burn any bridges as a possible VP candidate.
Saudi Arabia is not allied with us.
There is real evidence that the missiles came from the north (from the direction of Iraq). That’s of course meaningless since these aren’t ballistic missiles, and can turn (and indeed if they came from Iran, they almost certainly had to), so they could have come from a lot of places. Iran is definitely most likely,…
You’re right! With the Topeak, I want something simple to keep on the bike, where it’s extremely unlikely I’ll need to do anything requiring “actual torque”. For removing crank bolts, I have a dedicated tool, but I don’t bring it with me. The multi-tool is just for quick fixes/adjustments when I’m out riding. I…

I’m saying you should be taxed for polluting.
You could of course do both. You need emissions to come down, which means you need efficiency to go up. It is not optional. If the “carrot” approach is successful, then the “stick” is meaningless, because you are already there and it doesn’t hurt anyone. But if you fail to convince people to buy efficient vehicles,…
Except as I noted, they are being helped by the current mandate. Without it, Tesla would have to charge more and would sell fewer cars, possibly enough that they wouldn’t be viable (and of course they’ve benefited from federal credits as well). Moreover, if there weren’t standards, Tesla might still be able to do ok…
Tesla currently sells emissions credits to other companies who would like to sell less efficient vehicles. I would assume they would continue doing so, to the benefit of both Telsa and Tesla’s customers.
Very few families need SUVs/vans. Hell a lot of these big vehicles spend most of their time commuting with one person in them. And for those that do, they’ll still be able to buy them, they will just be paying a premium because the manufacturer will need to sell more efficient vehicles cheaper or buy credits from…
I’m sorry but that’s absurdly short sighted. Why should anyone be able to pass along those destructive non-monetary costs to society. There’s no reason for us to subsidize them. Yes, people will end up paying a little more. But we pay for that pollution with premature deaths, additional disease, and we will be paying…
That’s fine, if we have a cap and trade system for carbon (or a properly set carbon tax), and people pay for the environmental impacts of their gas guzzling.
We can absolutely hit that target. In the absolute worst case, we already have many cars that exceed the limit, so automakers would have to sell a lot more of those, and fewer gas guzzlers.
One of my high school classmates stole her parents’ car (from a detached garage), and then proceeded to back it into a corner of the house destroying the structure on that side of the house, but really opening up their living room.
Yeah, I’d associate it with Inuyasha, but I really doubt he was first either.
