I do wonder how this stuff works with HIPAA, etc. Like does the team ask the player to sign a release each time? Do they have a blanket release (and does everyone just sign it?) Even for doctors that work for the team, they can’t just share that information freely.

I mean when you have the highest payroll in baseball (~$10M more than next team and ~$60M than the 6th place team), expectations are high, and you probably should at least still be in playoff contention in early September.
