I think this guy had the most honest reply out of the bunch. It’s true that car guys of each generations lust after the cars they couldn’t afford but really wanted when new. I grew up in the 90's and 2000's... I lust after all years and types of cars but especially 90's and 2000's ones. 1997 Dodge Viper GTS was on a

Incl people born from 1960-64 in this list of somewhat ageist “humor” is a bit galling. I’m just as characteristic of GenX as I am of late Boomers, and have little in common with people born right after WWII.

I am 40, have the same daily driver and lust after the same late 80s and early 90s imports as you.  Glad I’m not the only one driving a Tesla while searching the internets for a classic Japanese cars.

There is due process - the money is charged with a crime and fails to defend itself in court. The former holder can file in support of the money but that requires a lawyer and a filing fee at the Federal level and then wait for several years to get on the docket.

Venmo has transfer caps, and due to the trustworthiness of PayPal (owners of Venmo), I certainly wouldnt accept almost 24k using it.

Since when is a Tesla store and service center a “scam”?

Devil’s Advocate:

That is not a real price. That is “I have to have it for sale to keep it in inventory, but I don’t really want to sell it price”. Unless some dumbass comes along and is willing to pay it, of course. Then the dealer principal smiles all the way to the bank. And along the way, free publicity.

Wasn’t that hard to Google, it’s a store and service center in one:

Like everything else, launching boats takes practice. I think the biggest thing that causes these accidents is nerves causing people to forget the basics. I have a pretty solid checklist that I run through each time and it keeps me out of trouble. I also refuse to rush, no matter how busy the launch is. Rushing leads

Absolutely not the least safe vehicle you can buy.

With the average cost of a new car being near $50K, does it REALLY matter if the cost goes to $50.05K?

The LEAST safe is quite the claim. What data backs that?

I listen to AM sports talk radio. Hard to understand why that makes me a bigot (you can, however, make an argument that the Seahawks’ performance on Sunday was vile content).

The comment was unnecessary and purposefully inflammatory, that’s all. There was no need for it in the context of expounding on the subject of

In fact, even the bigots who keep talk radio afloat can simply choose to stream their vile content instead of using the radio.

This. All day, this. These people did this to themselves. This is either no training or not paying attention. Like you, I’ve launched 100s of boats, all up and down Vancouver Island and the mainland. This just doesn’t happen without user error.

This is an incorrect assumption. It will not work like the 4xE at all.

It is not similar to those at all. This truck’s gasoline engine will not power the wheels in any way. It is a generator.

I’m willing to bet good money that these stupid fuckers backed the car to the point where the water reached the bottom of the rear doors or higher, and and it started floating, and then it showed them the warning, and they got out while the car was floating away.

I blame this on people are stupid and don’t know how to drive/use their cars.
