Buick Rendezvous.

I’m sure that’s part of it too. Lots of excellent newer competitors in a crowded segment make for a tough selling proposition.

They’ve been very good sellers averaging 203,000 per year since 2014. This year its 89,000 through November so its a pretty big drop.

Well, up here in the land of ice and snow and giant potholes, it just means your car is undriveable for 5 months out of the year if your coilovers lower the car as much as this guy’s Acura.

“Coilovers” - how to say “I’m immature and have poor judgement” without saying “I’m immature and have poor judgement” especially in a northern climate. Those BBS style wheels are tasty, though.

LOL. “Cop reporter”. Yep, you get a special hall pass to the innermost thoughts and motivations of LEOs. /s

So, being a former reporter and editor somehow gives you special insight into what law enforcement’s true motivations are?

Ironically enough, I just drove my suburban neighbor to the airport in his Ram 1500. Lordy, that is a big beast. I do get what you’re saying. People all have their reasons, rational or not.

I once made the mistake of renting a Ram 4x4 for a 9 day camping trip in Iceland. $100 PER DAY in fuel costs.

How would you presume to know the “real issue” with police about streaming is “its outside their absolute control”?

Sir, this is an Arby’s”. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)

GM full sized pick-ups.

Thankfully the Hellcats are still safe according to these clowns.

80% of big city police agencies now have body cameras. 47% of all agencies have them in the U.S. It should be 100%.

Mercedes, I’m all for lots of video being an excellent way to keep police interactions safe. Its the live streaming that is a potential issue.

The counterpoint is more officers and more cameras create more scrutiny and much less chance of a bad outcome when someone is allegedly not cooperating.

As I mentioned above, I have no issue with bystanders or passengers in a stopped car recording a police interaction. The more cameras, the better, as it keeps everyone accountable, right? Nowadays, everyone has a camera and it is a good thing overall.

Recording on both sides is good for public safety, no question. Live streaming is the issue in question with potential for creating escalation and unsafe scenarios.

Middle aged white guy" As if that somehow strengthens your position.
