Agreed, on short term signal loss. The problem is when you get to very isolated areas with lengthy signal loss.

Multiple stops is where you lose Google Maps. You have to get back to cellular coverage to restart, which is problematic in some areas.
I found I would lose on screen maps if you turn the car off. Going back to the phone screen worked only some of the time. I recently did some driving in very rural Montana and parts of the Blue Ridge mountains where there was absolutely nothing until you got back to cellular coverage areas. I think it has a lot to do…
Bicyclist here. I thought the apology was refreshing in an age of half assed “we’re sorry if we offended anyone” B.S. that passes for sincere nowadays.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are great for Nav, EXCEPT when you are on a road trip driving through the boonies where there isn’t a cell signal.
Interesting. Thank you for clarifying.
So, why would testing breath or blood be illegal if the suspect didn’t pass a standard field sobriety test or field observation as is the case here? Could you clarify?
So, did they bother to conduct a breathalyzer test at the scene or do a blood draw to verify alcohol levels or intoxicants before putting her in lock-up?
A couple months ago I randomly scored a 2021 Mustang GT convertible from Enterprise in Phoenix. I decided to pay a couple bucks extra for the upgrade to a “convertible” and was unexpectedly gifted a 460 HP Coyote powered monster.
A good case in point would be someone over the age of 60 being able to correct a younger person’s botched spelling of a common idiom.
Reverse: After it was all over when Khrushchev pulled his missiles from Cuba and we pulled ours from Turkey (non-publicly), JFK admitted he believed the odds of us having an all out nuclear war with the Soviet Union were “about 2 in 5" .
Volvo is doing it right. Amazingly, in my factory rep days (just a couple years ago) I used to have to explain to some of our dealers with janky 3rd party sites why they should put the Monroney link on their NEW vehicle web tiles.
Which is exactly why you’d get a PPI. Put this one on the lift and take a good look for leaks, etc. You’d also change out the timing belt and water pump just based on age alone. Also pull the plugs, take a look at the combustion chambers, do a leak down test, etc, etc.
I’ll give it a contrarian NP, assuming it passes a PPI and has maintenance records.
Yep, I’m pretty sure Eric (along with virtually everyone else on the planet) already knew Shatner was Captain Kirk on Star Trek.
Your narrative leaves out key details outlined in the letter from the County prosecutor. Telling only half the story does readers a disservice, hurts your credibility, and leads to people making incorrect conclusions.
Counterpoint: The PT Cruiser was an important car in its day because it made DaimlerChrysler a shit ton of money for the entire model run.
Damn, the short wheelbase GC is one nice looking ride. It eliminates any of the slightly awkward proportions of the long wheel base version. The 4xe version hits me as an ideal compromise for both guilt free SUV commuting and guilt free off-road fun.
Even better, CamelBak hydration makes several models with a vest design that has a perfect front zip pocket for CCW.
These things are goofy looking, yet, for $17K you are probably going to have a very nice boomer time going back and forth to the golf club or stopping for drinks and dinner with your highly botoxed significant other.
