The coils in the back will be a nice improvement although it’s certainly not a ground breaking innovation.

Sigh. Those wheels are so wrong and ruin the asthetic. Same goes with the motor.
Ally was a partner with FCA for several years, post-bankruptcy, and served as a pseudo captive financial when the old Chrysler Financial was dissolved. FCA didn’t have a stake in Ally, just a partnership.
Back in 2004 I was driving a Chrysler Pacifica company car. (I worked for Chrysler at the time.)
Amazingly, you can walk into any Wallmart and buy a pseudo seatbelt buckle insert that fools the car into thinking you're belted in. That these things are even legal is amazing.
Maybe it’s just me, but, the sheer amount of people I see driving while using a hand held phone, texting, surfing the internet, or even reading an effing book (saw it last week) has gone up, not down. What the hell?
The counterpoint relates to the sheer number of stupid ways someone could be parted with their money with absolutely no recourse (aside from civil forfeiture) including a simple car break-in, car theft, carjacking, car fire, flood, crash, reposession, and even something as mundane as getting towed for a parking…
People walking around wearing $87K watches have insurance, though. All I’m saying is this guy could have a number of very bad scenarios that would part him with his money.
Counterpoint: Driving around with $87,000 in cash is exceptionally stupid and/or highly suspicious.
$5,900 is chump change for what appears to be a serviceable wagon for light commuting or errand running. 160K miles is actually pretty low after 21 years.
The supply/demand curve is a MFer in times like these.
I’m sure there’s plenty of variation on employee/supplier pricing reimbursement program rules between various manufacturers. I am surprised GM doesn’t make dealers whole, though.
Here’s the thing about supplier pricing or employee pricing that most people don’t get:
Does Lightfoot know that Uber and Lyft don't have vaccine mandates for drivers?
Low miles, color, and powertrain combo are as ideal as you’re gonna find if you want an SSR.
I’m a big fan of slightly used luxury cars as well. Definitely more bang for the buck. I bought a CPO 2017 Macan S with 19K miles last year and it’s a hell of a nice ride.
I’m obviously generalizing a bit here, and yes, some of these cars change hands quickly and are well maintained so that the third owner might be just fine.
You don’t want to be the third owner of any expensive German sedan.
This dealer looks shady AF. There has to be a tune to get it 90+ more HP if that number is real.
Calling a half-assed unfinished project truck a rat rod does not make it a rat rod. ND.
